Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, transportation, devotions, budgeting, and reporting; the role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married at least two years.
• Spouses must be 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one approved dog.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to be certified to drive vans.
• Lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel attendance (no proselytizing).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
