Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents work a nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off, with potential transition to a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include housing, meals, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers.
• Two-person role for couples; must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
