Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus homes and provide daily supervision and mentorship for 8–13 students. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home.

Required: high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, and at least two years of marriage.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
