Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
