Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, creating a family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervising students daily, coordinating routines, meds, driving to activities, leading devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation opportunities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
