Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person married couple. They live in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students and guiding academic, emotional, and social development.

The role involves daily supervision, scheduling, transportation, and devotional activities, with transition to a placed houseparent once established. Applicants must be a married couple, 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driverf s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
