Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students in a home setting.

The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off, and may transition to a placed houseparent with a single student group over time. Benefits include a per-person salary of $46,917, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
