Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents—two married individuals living in on-campus homes to guide 8-13 students. The role includes daily supervision, activity planning, and spiritual devotions.

Couples must be married at least two years, both at least 27, and hold a high school diploma. The package includes housing, meals while on duty, and comprehensive benefits. Salary per person is about $46,917 annually.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples who are legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation with them.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
