Job summary

B’zoe Care is seeking a live-in HCA/CNA caregiver for Orcas Island, WA. The role includes caregiving, mobility assistance, and companionship, with shifts Saturday morning to Tuesday morning. Applicants in Bellingham and nearby areas are encouraged to apply, with flexible hours within 20–40 per week.

Responsibilities include health monitoring, meal preparation, medication reminders, and accompanying the client to appointments. A valid CNA/HCA, CPR/First Aid, and vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with mobility and transfers.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming and oral hygiene.
• Monitor health indicators and report concerns.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure hydration.
• Administer medication reminders and schedule adherence.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany client to medical appointments and outings as needed.
• Ensure safety through ongoing supervision and use of mobility aids.
