Job summary

Visiting Angels of Humble is hiring a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to support seniors at home across the Humble area. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility assistance, and medication reminders, enabling clients to stay safely at home with dignity.

We offer flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, and various 8-12 hour options, plus benefits such as health and dental insurance, weekly/daily pay, and continuing education to support your growth in caregiving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management and organization.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene
• Managing light housekeeping
• Encouraging clients to meet their exercise and fitness goals
• Prompting clients to take their prescription medications at the right times
• Helping clients with shopping and putting away groceries (or shopping for them)
• Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients (based on client ability)
• Assisting clients with mobility and ambulation - this can include everything from getting around the house to visiting the doctor and taking walks
