Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in New Jersey is urgently seeking Certified Home Health Aides for an immediate live-in private-care opportunity in Englewood Cliffs. You will provide one-on-one care to an elderly female, assisting with mobility, daily activities, and personal care in the comfort of her home.

Scrubs are expected on duty; you will ensure comfort and safety, offer companionship, and monitor dementia-related routines while accompanying the client to appointments and handling errands as needed.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey CHHA certification required.
Experience with personal care and mobility assistance.
Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
Comfortable wearing scrubs while on duty.
Ability to follow the client's care plan safely.

Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene.
Companionship: Provide friendly conversation and supervision for comfort and safety.
Dementia Care: Assist with daily routines, reminders, and safety monitoring.
Transportation: Accompany and assist during doctor visits and medical checkups.
Shopping and Errands: Help with groceries, medications, and daily tasks.
Light Housekeeping: Laundry, dishes, and keeping the home clean and organized.
Emotional Support: Provide comfort, patience, encouragement, and reassurance.
