Job summary

Executive Home Care of Chester County in West Chester, PA seeks a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide non-medical support in the client’s home, ensuring safety and comfort with a dignity-first approach.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation support. This is an on-site live-in role with time off as scheduled.

Qualifications

Experience with caregiving (professional or personal).
Able to assist with personal care and mobility.
Knowledge of oxygen safety and emergency response protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, patient and trustworthy.
Ability to live on-site with scheduled time off.
Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
Support mobility and safe transfers; fall prevention.
Monitor oxygen equipment safety and procedures.
Prepare heart-healthy meals per guidelines.
Light housekeeping and laundry; maintain clean home.
Provide medication reminders (non-medical) and accompany to appointments.
Offer companionship and engage in activities.
Run errands and transportation as needed.
Be present overnight for assistance if required.
