Job summary

Emmanuel Care Services is seeking a compassionate care assistant to live-in with a client for a set period, providing personal care, support with meals, hygiene and dressing, and recording daily updates. You will work closely with the care team to ensure comfort and wellbeing.

You will collaborate with registered nurses across care settings and community visits, building trusting relationships that promote independence, dignity and respect, while delivering the very best standards of care.

Qualifications

• 6 months UK paid experience within the last 5 years working as a care assistant
• New DBS check or one we can check with the Update Service

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
• Update records and provide care in collaboration with registered nurses in care settings, community work and live‑in care
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients to promote independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering high standards of care
