Job summary
Griswold Home Care for Northern Vermont is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers to provide dependable, non-medical support to older adults who want to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.
As a live-in caregiver, you will provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and help maintain independence, with responsibilities tailored to each client’s plan. We value reliability, communication, and compassionate service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and eligible to work in the United States.
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving with older adults.
- Previous in-home or live-in caregiving experience preferred.
- Ability to meet physical requirements and pass background checks.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living.
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating.
- Light housekeeping and home safety.
- Medication reminders.
- Mobility and transfer assistance.
- Overnight presence and care when required.
- Follow client's individualized care plan.
- Communicate observations to office and family.
