Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide assistance to individuals in their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Escort clients to appointments and run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing/dressing, feeding, toileting, medication reminders, walking, exercise assistance, and light housekeeping.
• Provide personal laundry, cooking, shopping, and companionship services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in caregiving techniques and meal preparation for special dietary needs.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Ability to commute or relocate to the northern/western suburbs of Chicago.
