Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a Live-In Caregiver to join a caring team delivering in-home clinical support. The role includes personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and companion support with a focus on compassion and service-minded teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certificate preferred.
• One year of caregiving experience in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Ambulation/transfers, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, mop, dishes, laundry).
• Medication reminders and assisting with prescribed ranges of motion exercises.
• Understand dementia care and incontinence care.

Starting Salary $248.30 per day (overtime if applicable)

$500 Sign On Bonus for HHA and PCA, $300 Sign on Bonus for caregivers without certification (must work 90 days)

Live-in Caregiver Responsibilities:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)

Ambulation/Transfers

Dressing/Shaving

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.

Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

Medication reminders

Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises

Measuring and preparing special diets

Understanding dementia care

Incontinence care

Requirements for Live-in Caregiver:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred

Valid Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certificate is preferred

One year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile is preferred
