Job summary

Right at Home Langhorne is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a busy in-home care team in Langhorne, PA and surrounding areas. Shifts: LIVE IN (in client's home). Pay range: $165-180 per day. We offer a great work environment and ongoing development opportunities.

Required: State ID, high school diploma or GED, minimum 1 year of home care experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and two caregiving references. Travel to clients' homes is expected and Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of home care experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must provide two caregiving references
• Sympathetic attitude toward elderly care
• State ID required
• Recent PPD/2-step PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest Xray preferred

Responsibilities

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
• Light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and errands, companionship, and personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.
• Travel to client's residence is required.
• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.
• Be willing to work with Hospice patients.
• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

What we need from you:

• State ID

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required

• Minimum 1 year of home care experience

• Ability to provide 2 Caregiving references.

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

• Recent PPD Test- 2 step PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest Xray Preferred
