Job summary

University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) in Bluffton campus seeks an Assistant Director of Student Life to lead program development, advise student organizations, and foster an inclusive, vibrant campus culture across Beaufort and Bluffton.

Reporting to the Director of Campus Recreation & Student Life, you will manage budgets, develop leadership initiatives, and collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to enhance the student experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student development theory and engagement best practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing engaging programs to strengthen campus community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Student Life department.
• Advise and support registered student organizations and leadership development.
• Design and assess campus-wide programs and events across multiple campuses.
• Build partnerships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community partners.
