Job summary

Mountaire Farms in North Carolina is seeking a Live Haul Manager to direct and guide the Live Haul Department, ensuring on-time delivery of birds to the plant. You will coordinate with production, processing and transportation to meet milestones and cost targets.

Responsibilities include leading and developing the team, maintaining records, and creating delivery and staffing reports while adhering to all Animal Welfare and Mountaire safety policies. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BA or 3+ years in management required.
• 2+ years in Live Haul Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Duties/Activities Required by Job

• Oversee daily scheduling of live bird pick up, coordinate with production, processing, live haul transportation to ensure proper scheduling. Ensure all milestones, financial targets and success metrics are met.
• Lead and develop team. Encourage training to build competency and commitment
• Maintain records, create reports on deliveries and staffing. Adhere to all Animal Welfare policies
• Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Ensure catching crews and live haul drivers adhere to Mountaire safety policies.

Educations/Experience Requirements
