Bachoco USA is seeking a Live Haul Driver for Dept. 367, 1st shift in Heavener. This role transports chickens from farms to processing plants, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to DOT rules. Hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM with schedule variations.

Responsibilities include log maintenance, equipment checks, and safe handling of cages. CDL and clean DOT history required, with long hours and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Class-A CDL Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

Summary

Transports chickens from broiler farms to the plants by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Drives a truck to transport chickens from the broiler farms to the plants.

  • Picks up chickens at the farms.

  • Delivers chickens to live haul.

  • Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.

  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.

  • Binds and unbinds cages.

  • Must comply with all DOT and State driver training and documentation requirements.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of verifiable driving experience.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate hours of service, complete log book pages and calculate and report hours worked.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
