Job summary

George’s, Cassville, MO, is seeking a Live Hanger responsible for discerning live vs dead chickens and hanging live birds on moving shackles in a fast-paced environment.

• Be able to work in a fast paced setting hanging a live chicken weighing 2-5 pounds, on every 5th shackle
• Adhere to all George’s policies & procedures and all animal welfare laws & regulations
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
• Must be able to work in a dimly lighted work area shoulder to shoulder with other employees
• Must be able to grasp a chicken at approximately waist level and hang a live chicken on a shackle at shoulder height
• Must be able to discern a live chicken from a dead chicken
