Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Live Hang Associate for the 2nd shift in Lewiston Woodville, NC. You will work directly on the processing line, hanging live birds in shackles and helping maintain line speed and product quality.

Responsibilities include retrieving birds from conveyors, handling weights, and rotating positions to support safe operations. High school or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve birds by their feet from a conveyor.
• Hang birds in shackles on a moving line.
• Maintain line speed and ensure product quality.
• Rotate positions as required and keep the work area clean and safe.
