Job summary

Barry University in Miami is seeking personnel to assist the Sports Information office with event score table activities during home games, including score book, score sheet, scoreboard and shot clock. This is an in-person position.

You will help with setup for athletic events across many sports, operate the scoreboard and videoboard, support internet broadcasts, track statistics, assist with tickets and concessions, and help with marketing and social media for athletic events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Sport Management preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Experienced operating digital equipment and score book/score sheet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup for athletic events across sports.
• Operate scoreboard, videoboard, and assist with internet broadcasts.
• Provide support during game days including statistics, shot clock, and scorebook.
• Assist with tickets and concessions at athletic events.
• Support marketing and social media efforts for athletic events.
