Job summary

The New Orleans Pelicans are seeking energetic, outgoing individuals to join the Hype Squad, a fan-facing extension of the Game Experience team. Hype Squad members bring energy and excitement to Pelicans game days through direct interaction with fans throughout the Smoothie King Center.

This part-time seasonal role requires comfort performing in front of crowds, appearing on camera, and maintaining enthusiasm during extended events.

Qualifications

• Ability to work the majority of scheduled home games and events.
• Confidently interact with fans of all ages and maintain high energy.
• Willingness to rehearse, work late nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a high-energy, fan-facing brand ambassador for Pelicans game days.
• Attend required rehearsals and report at the designated call time.
• Engage fans before, during, and after games to generate excitement.
• Participate in on-court games, promotions and fan activations.
• Assist with interactive activities and camera moments with arena staff.
