Job summary

Oak View Group is hiring a Warehouse Runner for the Rio Rancho Events Center in New Mexico. The role supports concession stands, restocks inventory, handles deliveries, and maintains cleanliness during events. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

The position offers part-time hours with an hourly rate of $14.00–$15.00 and benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Open until November 13, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with staff and guests.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and Restocking: Set up and stock all concession stands, bars, and portable locations before events; restock food, beverages, and supplies during service to maintain service flow.
• Inventory Management: Receive and organize deliveries; rotate stock using FIFO to ensure freshness; maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with monthly counts.
• Delivery and Distribution: Deliver items according to requisitions to concession stands, bars, and portable locations; transport inventory safely between storage and service areas.
• Sanitation and Cleanliness: Remove trash and recyclables from stands; clean commissary dishes; sweep, mop, and organize storage areas; ensure all areas are neat, organized, and sanitary.
• Equipment Support: Troubleshoot minor issues with soda and beer dispensing equipment; inform management if maintenance is needed.
• Event Support: Assist with stand opening and closing procedures, including reconciliation and cleanup; coordinate with volunteers or staff as needed.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction; follow food safety and sanitation standards when handling products.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
