Job summary

Gen-X Renovations of Convington, LA seeks an Events Manager to lead a team of demonstrators, book shows, and drive lead generation at events across Louisiana. You will recruit, train, and manage staff, coordinate event calendars, and ensure booths are presented professionally.

You will report on productivity, labor, inventory, and budget weekly, set performance goals, and maintain strong cross-department communication. This is a fulltime, on-site role requiring weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience required.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.
• Recruiting and hiring experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to talk with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Basic computer literacy for admin/reporting duties.
• Must want to work every weekend.
• Not a remote job: live within 30-minute drive of Convington, LA.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your territory.
• Engage event patrons at booths to generate leads and schedule appointments.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up and removed from events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for events and team.
• Weekly maintain, track, and report department productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular communication with supervision and other departments.
