Job summary

Legends Global in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced Finance professional to lead accounting, payroll, and financial reporting for its event operations.

You will oversee the general ledger, month-end close, budgets, and cash management, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across all venues. This role requires leadership and cross-functional collaboration with venue teams and corporate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports for client and Legends Global Corporate.
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Oversee ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, and related records.
• Oversee bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and prepare cost/revenue projections.
• Coordinate payroll processing, including union reporting and deductions.
• Support internal audits and external audits as needed.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across accounting functions.
