Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or its equivalency.
• 0 - 2+ years in a sports and entertainment venue preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Understand the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Represent the Security Dept. in an exemplary manner.
• Maintain good business relations with all employees and managers.
• Ability to perform in crises and stay composed under pressure.
• Maintain patron, employee and company confidentiality.
• Obtain a California Guard Card at your own expense; required before scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 24-hour security coverage for interior and exterior of the facility.
• Conduct regular patrols and identify safety concerns.
• Respond to safety and security calls during peak events.
• Provide guest services: greet patrons, give directions, answer questions.
• Perform bag checks, operate wands, and monitor detectors.
• Support crowd management and guide guest flow.
• Manage access points for staff, vendors, performers, and VIPs.
• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations with calm communication.
• Complete tasks per guidelines set by Security Manager.
• Adhere to conduct, attendance, dress code and ethics.
