Job summary

Block Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Support Staff member to assist with graphics, audio, and video across BCSN productions. The role requires independent work, creativity, and teamwork to contribute to production success.

The position reports to Operations Supervisors and, at events, is led by the event Director. It is a non-exempt, contingent role with schedules that vary, often under 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience maintaining discretion with confidential information.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Must be able to work as part of a team in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and strike in a safe and orderly manner in a Mobile Production Unit at events.
• Operate production equipment for TV quality graphics, audio, and video.
• Drive as needed to perform job duties.
• Perform equipment checks and report repairs to supervisors.
• Organize and deliver tapes/disks to correct locations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform other departmental duties as needed.
