FOREFRONT NETWORKS, LP is seeking an Event Production Accountant to manage all financial aspects of live events, including budgeting, vendor management, and real-time cost tracking from pre-production through final reconciliation. The role requires a detail-oriented approach in fast-paced entertainment environments.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of full accounting experience in live events, expert knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel, and the ability to travel for on-site event

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full accounting experience in live events.
• Experience in live events, experiential marketing, concerts, or festivals.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Knowledge of production accounting and expense management software.
• Understanding of event-related tax regulations.
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Budget Management: Partner with Event Producers to build, track, and forecast large event budgets.
• Cost Tracking & Reporting: Monitor spending against budgets and provide variance reports.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage POs, obtain W-9s and COIs, maintain vendor records.
• Payment Processing: Process vendor payments via cards, ACH, wire, or checks.
• Corporate Credit Card Administration: Reconcile statements, coding, and documentation.
• Banking Support: Reconcile bank statements and resolve exceptions.
• On-Site Financial Operations: Manage petty cash and per diems during events.
• Reconciliation & Wrap: Finalize project wrap with reconciliations and profitability reports.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow.
• Legal and Administrative: Support contracts and compliance reviews.
• Sales Tax Compliance: Stay updated on state tax requirements.
