Job summary

Oak View Group's UBS Arena in Elmont, NY seeks an Electrician to support operation, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems across the arena and campus. You will handle event power distribution, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and capital/operational projects in a year-round live entertainment setting.

The role pays an hourly rate of $64.25 per CBA, with duties spanning concerts, sports, and building operations.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Experience with commercial electrical systems preferred in large venues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and events.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove temporary feeder cables from arena electrical distribution panels.
• Provide power distribution for concerts, sporting events, and special events.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems supporting HVAC equipment, motors, pumps, elevators, and building systems.
• Maintain interior and exterior lighting across arena, plaza, and parking areas.
