Job summary

MSG Entertainment Corp. in New York City is seeking a Concessions Specialist to serve beverages and merchandise during events at Madison Square Garden and related venues. You will take orders, mix drinks, and process transactions with speed and care.

The role requires bartending experience, a license is a plus, and a friendly, high-energy approach to delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced arena setting. You must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience; bartending license a plus.
• Experience as a server is a plus.
• Ability to handle high-volume environment with high-quality customer service.
• Friendly and outgoing; create a welcoming environment for guests and coworkers.
• Ability to handle transactions without a register.
• Must be able to work in cold environment and stand for long periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; flexible to rotate positions.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening side work and assists with opening duties in merchandise, concessions, and bar areas.
• Assists guests by making recommendations and answering questions.
• Takes food/beverage orders from patrons and serves drinks.
• Processes transactions for merchandise and food/beverage areas and seating areas.
• Sells/delivers alcoholic beverages following liquor guidelines.
• Maintains knowledge of venue policies and locations.
• Performs closing side work and assists with closing down areas after events.
• Delivers exceptional guest experiences and adheres to appearance guidelines.
