Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Audio/Production Visual Technician for on-site work at The Sanford Center in Bemidji, MN. The role involves setting up and operating AV gear for live events, ensuring smooth execution, and providing high-quality event support.

The candidate should have 3–5 years’ experience in a live venue, with a preference for a technical degree or certification, and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue/center/theater.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment for live events, meetings, and productions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems before and during events to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate with clients, event staff, and vendors to understand production requirements and deliver high-quality event support.
• Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inventory management of audiovisual equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Assist with event load-in/load-out activities, including equipment transportation, cabling, staging, and system configuration.
