Job summary

DanceOne in Orlando is seeking a Video Technician to manage live video production at our events. You will set up, operate, and maintain video gear, perform on-site switching, playback, and streaming to audiences worldwide.

You’ll work with the Production Management team, support venues, travel to national events, and help ensure high-quality feeds. Experience with ATEM and Blackmagic software is preferred; flexible hours and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an A/V Technician or Video Operator in live events.
• Hands-on knowledge of video switchers, projectors, playback systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate video equipment for control and playback.
• Operate ATEM switcher for camera feeds, graphics, and playback.
• Place cameras at front-of-house and other positions for coverage.
• Maintain and repair video gear; report issues promptly.
• Route judges' feeds into final video for recording and webcasting.
• Provide on-site or remote support to internal teams.
• Upload routines correctly and log fixes for post-production.
• Support other elements of the technical team as directed.
