Job summary

Academy of Art University School of Game Development is seeking a Federal Work Study Esports Stream Coordinator to assist with live broadcasts in the production studio. Onsite role focusing on hardware, audio, and software testing to ensure professional stream quality.

Responsibilities include configuring OBS, updating overlays, troubleshooting in real-time, and supporting a rotating cast of student streamers to elevate presentation value.

Qualifications

• Experience with OBS Studio or Streamlabs for live streams.
• Knowledge of streaming hardware pipelines (capture cards, audio interfaces).
• Ability to troubleshoot software crashes and desyncs in real-time.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work weekends and up to 20 hours per week.
• Interest in games/esports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-flight technical audits on studio hardware and network configurations.
• Configure OBS profiles, bitrates, layouts, and alerts.
• Update overlays, assets, sponsor rotations with design teams.
• Act as technical director during streams, switching layouts.
• Support Twitch channel management, VOD archiving, and player issues.
