Job summary

School of EMS is seeking an Live Education Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for live education programs. You will audit paperwork for EMR/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic programs, ensure signatures, and maintain documentation for audits and accreditation. You will identify deficiencies, track improvements, and assist with special projects.

The role emphasizes clear oral and written communication, teamwork, dependability, and professionalism in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree (AS/AA) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• EMS experience preferred; experience in education, quality assurance, compliance, or auditing preferred.

Job description

The Live Education Specialist provides focused administrative and operational support for the successful delivery of live education programs. Primarily responsible for quality assurance reviews of lab paperwork. Refers discrepancies for correction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Audit submitted laboratory paperwork for EMR, EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic programs for completeness, accuracy, and required signatures.

Maintain accurate documentation required for audits and accreditation reviews.

Document and refer deficiencies requiring correction, and identify recurring documentation deficiencies.

Maintain audit tracking logs, and recommend process improvements to increase documentation accuracy.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Strong computer proficiency

Associate degree (AS/AA) from an accredited college or university preferred

EMS experience preferred

Previous experience in education, quality assurance, compliance, or auditing preferred

Experience reviewing documentation preferred

Skills and Abilities

Language Ability – Must exhibit the ability to read, analyze, and interpret education-related material . Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization .

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures as they relate to teaching certain topics within the EMS curriculum.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in different formats . Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in the use of audio-visual equipment.
