The National Desk is seeking a dynamic Live Desk Anchor to support our dayparts.

In this role, you will provide "breaking," "new overnight," or "this just in" content for our fast channels throughout the afternoon. We need someone who is always looking for fresh content to bring to our viewers.

Strong writing skills, an ongoing knowledge of current events, and a dynamic live television presence are essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong leadership skills
• Smooth and pleasant delivery
• Strong writing skills and news judgment
• Sharp video shooting and editing skills
• Exemplary communication skills

Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of on-air experience
• Live commercial television experience
• Strong "in-the-field and live" skills
• Exceptional written communication skills with a conversational style
• Strong editorial judgment and ethical standards
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field (preferred)
