Job summary

GRID is seeking a skilled Live Trader to trade CS2 matches and other FPS titles using in-house models, delivering real-time pricing adjustments to keep markets balanced and competitive. You will monitor model performance, identify issues, provide feedback, mentor junior traders, and conduct post-match reviews to refine predictive tools.

You will be required to stay adaptable to fast-changing esports schedules and contribute to trading process improvements across tools and automation.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in esports trading, preferably focusing on CS
Deep understanding of FPS esports titles, including game mechanics, formats, teams, and meta
Proven track record in live trading and risk management
Strong mathematical understanding of probabilities and expected value
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to make quick, accurate judgments based on live match data

Responsibilities

Live trade CS2 and FPS matches using in-house pricing models across all tiers
Monitor the model's performance, identifying issues and adjusting pricing to ensure competitive and balanced markets
Feedback on models, pricing and industry trends to relevant stakeholders
Mentor junior traders and contribute to trading best practices
Conduct post-match reviews to refine predictive models and future forecasts
Offering insights on FPS titles based on deep knowledge and interest in specific areas
Support continuous improvement in trading processes, tools, and automation
