Job summary

Gray Media's KBTX-TV in Bryan-College Station, TX is seeking a Technical Media Producer to direct live and pre-recorded productions and manage content for two TV stations, KBTX.com and KBTX social platforms.

You will work in a state-of-the-art control center, collaborate with the newsroom, monitor signals, ingest programming, and operate automation and graphics systems such as Ross Overdrive, VizRT, iTX and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

• Team player with professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Strong technical and computing skills.
• Experience with Ross Overdrive, VizRT, iTX Automation and/or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/direct live and pre-recorded content for KBTX, CW8 Aggieland, KBTX.com and social media.
• Coordinate with KBTX newsroom to produce top-rated TV and digital programs.
• Monitor on-air signals, ingest daily programming and commercials.
• Operate Ross Overdrive, VizRT, iTX Automation and related equipment in control center.
• Occasional editing with Grass Valley Edius.
