Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. is seeking a Broadcast Overwatch Specialist to oversee and coordinate live broadcast systems at MLS facilities in Stamford, CT. You will ensure uptime, reliability, and quality by leading on-site teams and serving as the primary client liaison during events.

You will collaborate with engineers, production staff, and vendors to maintain and improve broadcast infrastructure, procedures, and incident responses while ensuring timely communication of service impacts to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in television production technology with progressive managerial responsibility.
• Supervisory experience including project coordination and client support.
• Willingness and ability to travel to NEP events as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead on-site Technical Managers to ensure consistency and readiness.
• Monitor live broadcast operations and transmission systems to identify and address issues.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison during live events, coordinating multiple teams.
• Communicate operational updates to clients and coordinate incident response.
• Support REMI workflows, verifying connectivity, equipment readiness and staffing.
• Lead incident response activities and perform post-incident reporting.
• Collaborate with the Broadcast Overwatch Manager to maintain SOPs and incident plans.
• Maintain documentation, schematics, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with NEP datacenter and remote engineers to troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure.
• Work with client staff and external vendors on equipment, workflows, and requirements.
• Complete technical reports ensuring equipment needs and issues are resolved.
