Monitoring the Situation (MTS) is seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to support live and recorded content across IGN, Twitch, YouTube and X. The role demands hands‑on technical proficiency in streaming software, cameras, lighting, and studio systems to ensure smooth, high‑quality broadcasts.

You’ll troubleshoot in real time, decide between OBS and vMix during productions, and collaborate across platforms to deliver polished shows for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in broadcast engineering or live production environments.
• Proficiency with OBS and vMix, including decision logic for platform use.
• Strong understanding of cameras and lighting in a studio setting.

Responsabilités

• Support the technical production of live and recorded MTS content across platforms.
• Operate and manage live-streaming and broadcast software (OBS and vMix).
• Support workflows across IGN, Twitch, YouTube, X and other platforms.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot cameras and studio equipment.
• Set up and operate lighting rigs for professional productions.
• Work with camera support equipment (gimbals, tracks, rotating cameras).
• Evaluate tools and workflows to select OBS vs. vMix as appropriate.
• Determine equipment and technical requirements for multi‑studio productions.
• Troubleshoot issues before and during broadcasts to maintain quality.
