FOX7 Austin is seeking a high-energy Morning Show Producer to line produce a fast-paced, one-hour unscripted show. You will orchestrate live feeds, field reports, and guest segments in real time from the control room, ensuring a fresh Austin-centric broadcast.

You will guide conversations, manage segment timings, and coordinate with anchors and reporters without scripts. Familiarity with ENPS, LiveU/Dejero, and digital tools is essential to push clips to FOX7Austin.com and social channels.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of line producing or live show experience in TV, talk radio, or live digital broadcasting.
• Mastery in control room leadership with precise timing under high pressure.
• Strong instincts on Austin culture and current events to keep topics relevant.
• Familiarity with ENPS, LiveU/Dejero, and digital news tools.

Responsibilities

• Line produce a daily, fast-paced one-hour unscripted show—seamlessly orchestrating live feeds, field reporters, and guest segments in real time.
• Talk in the anchors’ and reporters’ ears to guide conversations, manage segment timings, hit commercial breaks, and direct talent without a pre-written script.
• Source top local trends, pitch hot topics, and book engaging guests from local newsmakers and Austin icons.
• Adapt on the Fly: React instantly to breaking news, switching live field feeds and re-ordering segment priorities on the spot.
• Cross-Platform Delivery: Work with our digital team to push top unscripted moments, live streams, and show highlights to FOX7Austin.com and social channels.
