Job summary

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. seeks a Visual Inspector of live ammunition at Picatinny Arsenal to join our Small Caliber Munitions team.

You will perform 100% visual inspections of loaded cartridges, whether in loose form or linked belts, and package ammunition for varied configurations. The ideal candidate will have acute attention to detail, the ability to work in a manufacturing setting, and be able to obtain DoD clearance and a Common Access Card.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to identify multiple defects.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred.
• Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Past or present military personnel encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% visual inspections of loaded cartridges, both loose and in linked belts.
• Package ammunition in multiple configurations.
• Operate automated equipment for loading, weighing, counting, linking of ammunition.
• Maintain inventory counts in the tracking system.
