Overview

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Systems Analyst to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency’s ongoing litigation efforts. Employment Type: Full Time, Mid-level. Department: Litigation Support.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • May work directly with Government staff and/or under the direction of the Contract IT Manager, Systems Manager, Senior Systems Analyst, or Lead Project Manager. Define system and project requirements based on information gathered from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff.
  • Design the entire system to meet defined requirements. Define functional and design requirements, systems design, programming specifications, data elements, validation specifications, data capture mechanisms, and data conversion procedures through discussions with Government staff and supervisors.
  • Translate functional requirements into system designs suitable for development of computer programs. Test software, including preparation and use of sample data for testing.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations.
  • Develop systems documentation required in task orders.
  • Consult with Government staff and Contractor staff to ensure understanding of objectives, identify problems, and suggest improvements.
  • Provide technical expertise, direction, and supervision to lower-level personnel; may function as technical supervisor or team leader for a project.
  • Report progress to Government staff and superiors.
  • Provide user and technical documentation and training for systems developed.
Qualifications
  • Substantial, hands-on experience in the relevant systems, typically at least three years. For example, experience setting up interconnected Oracle databases in a UNIX environment, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, population, maintenance, documentation, and user training.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into a coherent system design.
  • Broad knowledge of the Government IT environment, including office automation networks and PC/server-based databases and applications.
  • Supervisory or team-leader experience is useful; excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in automated litigation support is helpful.
  • Experience assisting CFPB with data extraction, transformation, loading, intake, review, and processing of data from external sources.
  • Experience with Relativity, ReadySuite (Compiled/KLDiscovery), and I-Pro eCapture preferred.
Ideally you will also have
  • An undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in computer science or information management/technology.
  • Onsite personnel with Relativity Certified Administrator certification is preferred.
