Overview
Litigation Systems Analyst – Employment Type: Full Time, Mid-level. Department: Litigation Support. CGS is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a wide‑range technical initiative for a large federal agency’s ongoing litigation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with government staff and join the project team as directed by the Contract IT Manager, Systems Manager, Senior Systems Analyst, or Lead Project Manager.
- Gather information from the COR, government case managers, and trial staff to define system and project requirements.
- Design complete systems to meet defined requirements, including functional and design specifications, data elements, and conversion procedures.
- Translate functional requirements into suitable system designs for development of computer programs.
- Test software, prepare and use sample data for testing, and document test results.
- Prepare formal reports and oral presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications.
- Develop required systems documentation as outlined in task orders.
- Consult with government staff and contractor personnel to ensure understanding of objectives, identify problems, and suggest improvements.
- Provide technical expertise, direction, and supervision to lower‑level personnel; occasionally serve as a technical supervisor or team leader.
- Report on progress to government staff and superiors.
- Provide user and technical documentation and training for developed systems.
Qualifications
- Substantial, hands‑on, successful experience (minimum three years) in required systems, such as setting up interconnected Oracle databases in a UNIX environment, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, and user training.
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into coherent system designs.
- Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server‑based databases, and applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and experience in automated litigation support.
- Experience with Relativity, ReadySuite (Compiled/KLDiscovery), and I‑Pro eCapture; ability to extract, manipulate, load, and review data for the CFPB.
- Supervisory or team‑lead experience is very useful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
- Relativity Certified Administrator certification.
