Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a floater to train and support several attorneys and case staff on rotation, with an eventual move to a litigation position.

This on-site role pays $20.00 per hour during training and involves shadowing paralegals, gathering information, drafting pleadings, and preparing settlement documents to support the team. You will gain direct experience alongside licensed professionals and work across multiple departments to build courtroom readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or Support Role experience preferred in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Highly organized with multitasking ability and attention to detail with a great attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; including good presentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization.
• Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Litigation Paralegals
• Gather and analyze relevant information pertaining to the injury claims
• Investigate the nature and facts of cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents to file with the court
• Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case
