Schloemer Law Firm, S.C. in Wisconsin is seeking an Associate Attorney who shares our values of integrity and client-centered service.

The role requires in-person work, admission to the Wisconsin State Bar, and a willingness to train the right candidate. You will handle a range of matters including small and large claims, evictions, real estate, and related litigation, while developing your practice within a supportive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Small/Large claims, Collections, Evictions, Restraining Orders, Condo & HOAs, and real estate matters including offers to purchase, land contracts, mortgages, easements, restrictive covenants and leases.
• Conduct legal research and write briefs, handle discovery, present oral arguments, counsel clients on litigation matters, and draft/review documents and agreements.
• Proactively manage client matters with a focus on service, responsiveness, and building long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Representing clients in various matters such as Small/Large claims, Collections, Evictions, Restraining Orders, Condo & HOA matters, real estate matters relating to Offers to Purchase, Land Contracts, Mortgages, Easements & Restrictive Covenants, and Leases (Residential & Commercial)
• Duties shall include, but not be limited to, conducting legal research and writing briefs, handling discovery related activities and investigations, presenting oral arguments, counseling clients on litigation related matters, and drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Proactively managing client matters with a focus on service, responsiveness, and building long‑term relationships.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Wisconsin State Bar. (Note we will also consider 3L candidates with local connections who are interested in a school year internship with a possibility of employment after graduation.)
• In person work is required; this is not a remote position.
• Prior experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.
