Job summary

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, P.L.C. in Utah seeks an established litigation partner to lead a growing practice. You will trial cases, argue motions, and stand before juries, all while mentoring junior trial lawyers and maintaining your own book of business.

Qualifications

• Utah Bar in good standing.
• 6+ years in civil litigation and/or insurance defense with substantial first-chair trial/arbitration experience.
• Proven track record with depositions, discovery, motions practice, and court appearances.
• Existing book of business or strong business development track record a plus.
• Desire to win for clients and lead a team that does the same.

JSH is looking for an established litigation partner to join our growing practices. This is a role for a proven trial lawyer who wants the backing of one of the largest and most experienced trial and appellate firms in the Southwest - trusted by major carriers across the region - without giving up the autonomy of running your own practice.

You'll step into a leadership role from day one: trying cases, arguing motions, and standing before juries and arbitrators, while mentoring the next generation of JSH trial lawyers.

What we're looking for

• Utah Bar member in good standing
• 6+ years in civil litigation and/or insurance defense, with substantial first-chair trial and arbitration experience

• Insurance defense background (auto, bad faith, construction, GL, med mal, PI, premises, product, professional, transportation, etc.) strongly preferred
• An existing book of business or strong business development track record a plus
• Someone who wants to win for clients and lead a team that does the same
