Job summary

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli, one of Utah’s leading insurance defense firms, seeks a driven attorney to join our civil litigation and insurance defense practice. You will try cases, arbitrate disputes, and work directly with partners from early in your career.

We offer mentorship, a structured new-lawyer training program, in-house CLE, and a transparent six-year path to partnership. Competitive base salary with a clear bonus structure awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active Utah Bar in good standing.
• 0-6+ years in civil litigation and/or insurance defense.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, motions practice, and court appearances is a plus.
• Insurance defense background strongly preferred.
• Motivated to win for clients and develop as a trial attorney.

What we’re looking for:

• Utah Bar member in good standing
• 0-6+ years in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
• Experience with depositions, discovery, motions practice, and court appearances a plus
• Insurance defense background (auto, bad faith, construction, GL, med mal, PI, premises, product, professional, transportation, etc.) strongly preferred
• Someone who wants to win for clients and has the drive to prove it
