Job summary

JurisTalent in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in all stages of litigation. The role includes research, case management, and trial preparation, with a hybrid work option after training.

The ideal candidate has strong writing and organizational skills, experience with discovery and document productions, and the ability to coordinate with clients, experts, and court personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred, asbestos or toxic tort experience highly preferred.
• Ability to manage discovery and large document productions.
• Ability to utilize eDiscovery tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Assist with case management from initial case investigation through trial preparation.
• Organize and electronically file pleadings.
• Coordinate and schedule calendars.
• Maintain case management databases and prepare discovery responses.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation.
• Obtain and review records, including medical records, police records, etc.
